Her most famous book is probably "A Wrinkle In Time". Madeline L'Engle was a very prolific writer. I continue to explore more of her books all the time. This is just a taste or appetizer of some of her better know works.

*The first time I read A Wrinkle in Time as an elementary school child, I thought it was fine, rather un- memorable. And on the suggestion of a friend, revisited in my early twenties. This series is now a yearly read for me. I find hope in fighting against the dark, I find truth in deepening, and cry in the naming.

Content: There is some growing up issues, and mild kissing, death
* For me this book is a beautiful illustration of families. We don't all act perfectly, we sometimes get interested in people that don't fit with who we are/ and our families. There are things that are confusing. Even after years of being out of the teenage years some of us find answers to our own desperate behavior through the gentle look into the Austin Family.
